We believe that first and foremost we are to love God. Everything flows from that simple commandment. In loving God, we will follow Jesus’ example of serving others. Our love for God and our desire to serve others, compels us to reach out to the world to share the Good News of Jesus Christ.

First Baptist is committed to these basic principles of Loving God, Serving Others and Reaching Our World for Christ.

Since 1902, First Baptist Church has been an active part of the community in Shattuck, Oklahoma. We are a member church of the Southern Baptist Convention and the Northwestern Baptist Association. First Baptist is a mission minded church, contributing 12% of every undesignated dollar to the Cooperative Program. The CP is Southern Baptists’ way of funding world missions
